Dave Holm and Tayler d’Alelio present at Practical Family Law CLE
We are pleased to recognize lawyers Dave Holm and Tayler d’Alelio for their presentation, Dividing Retirement in Separation and Divorce Cases, at the Rowan County Bar Association’s annual Practical Family Law CLE Friday, October 2, 2026 in Salisbury. We are honored to share their commitment to the improvement of family law advocacy through instruction, service and education.

After more than 25 years drafting Qualified Domestic Relations Orders (QDROs) and domestic relations orders for local, state and Federal retirement plans, Dave’s clients know they are in the best hands. A sought-after resource for family law attorneys across the state, Dave not only teaches CLEs, but also consults with other attorneys dividing retirement plans in family law cases.
Tayler’s insights brought a fresh and practical perspective to the discussion with a focus on tips for drafting the underlying agreement providing for the division of retirement assets. This is Tayler’s second consecutive year volunteering her time to present at the Practical Family Law CLE in Rowan County.
Other topics covered at the program included case law updates, grandparent rights, tax issues in family law cases, military pension division, the ethical use of AI for family lawyers, and mediation strategies to keep clients out of court.
Thank you to the Rowan County Bar Association for sponsoring this annual seminar, to Dave and Tayler, and to all of the speakers and attendees for a great day of learning.
