After working as a camp counselor during the first few summers of college, Alicia Jurney was ready for a change and landed a basic administrative position with a firm in Mooresville, NC. She loved the family law cases she assisted her supervising attorney, Judy Dalton, with. “I decided I wanted to go to law school, in hopes that one day I could be an attorney who helped people in the same way she did.” Jurney says.

Today she’s an attorney at Parker Bryan Family Law and derives great satisfaction from achieving outcomes in cases where she is able to make a significant difference in her clients’ lives. “I’ve had a handful of lengthy, difficult, emotional roller coaster of cases in my career, which turned out exactly the way they should have in the end.” she says. “Family Law is complex and stressful, but the impact I’ve had in those families’ lives is what I hold on to and try to think about when I have bad days.”
